How to use the gear coupling

The gear coupling is composed of two coupling discs through which the inner and outer teeth are coupled. A coupling disc with inner and outer teeth is coupled to the transmission and the transaxle via splines or keys.

(1) When the spline teeth on the gear are damaged and the matching clearance is greater than 0.4mm, it should be replaced.

(2) When the keyway on the gear is damaged, it is allowed to enlarge and replace the keyway, or insert a keyway at 60° from the original keyway.

(3) When adjusting the gear coupling, the coaxiality of the two shafts should not exceed 0.4mm.
